NEET PG 2024: Test Cities for August Exam Announced by NBE

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has published the list of test cities for the NEET PG 2024 exam on its official website. Scheduled for August 11, 2024, the NEET PG exam will be held across 185 designated cities. Candidates planning to sit for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) should refer to the latest NBE notification for important details regarding admit cards. Candidates are required to re-select their preferred test cities. The selection window for choosing NEET PG 2024 exam cities will be open from July 19 to July 22, 2024, until 11:55 PM. To select their desired test cities, candidates need to log in to the NBEMS portal at natboard.edu.in using their NEET PG 2024 login credentials.

NEET PG 2024 to Be Conducted Across 185 Cities

The NEET PG 2024 exam is set to be conducted in 185 cities across the country. It should be noted, however, that this list of test cities is provisional. Test cities have been reduced from 259 (as listed in the NEET PG 2024 brochure) to 185. To accommodate all candidates, the exam will now be conducted in two shifts. However, candidates will not be able to choose their examination shift, as shift allocation (morning or afternoon) will be determined by NBEMS.     Candidates need to choose four test cities from the available options within the state of their correspondence address. Note that these selections will not be considered in order of preference; the allocation of test cities will be random.
  5. Reduction in Test Cities
    NEET PG 2024 brochure lists 259 test cities, but only 185 will be tested. To manage the volume of candidates, the exam will now be conducted in two shifts.
  6. Shift Allocation
    Candidates will not have the option to choose their examination shift (Morning or Afternoon). Shift allocation will be handled by NBE.
