What is Kerala NEET PG Counselling?

Kerala NEET PG Counselling is a state-level counselling process managed by the CEE Kerala for admission to postgraduate medical and dental programs in government and private institutions within the state. The counselling is conducted strictly based on NEET PG 2025 merit, and all participating candidates must meet the eligibility requirements laid down by the state authority.

The counselling is conducted for the 50% State Quota Seats in government medical colleges, and 100% seats in private self-financing colleges in Kerala (excluding the All-India Quota seats, which are managed by MCC).

Step-by-Step Process of Kerala PG Medical Counselling

The entire process is conducted online. Here’s how it works:

  • 1. Online Registration

Candidates must visit www.cee.kerala.gov.in and register using their NEET PG Roll Number and basic details. They are required to upload the necessary documents and complete the registration fee payment through the official online portal.

  • 2. Publication of Merit List

CEE will release a provisional and then a final Kerala PG State Merit List, prepared based on NEET PG ranks and state eligibility.

  • 3. Option Entry / Choice Filling

Registered candidates can log in and fill their choices of course and colleges as per preference. This step is crucial, as seat allocation is based on the candidate’s preferences, NEET PG rank, and seat availability.

  • 4. Seat Allotment

The seat allotment results for each round will be officially released by the authority, and candidates allotted a seat can access and download their allotment letter directly from their login dashboard.

  • 5. Reporting to Allotted College

Candidates must report in person to the allotted institution with all original documents and complete the admission process, including the payment of prescribed fees, within the stipulated timeframe.

  • 6. Subsequent Rounds

After Round 1, there will be Round 2, followed by a Mop-Up Round (if seats remain vacant). In each round, candidates can re-enter choices or stay with previously filled ones.
