The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced a reduction in the NEET PG 2025 qualifying cutoff to facilitate the allocation of remaining seats in postgraduate medical programmes across India. This decision aims to increase the number of eligible candidates for the upcoming counselling rounds and ensure optimal utilisation of available seats in MD, MS, and diploma courses. According to the updated criteria, the revised qualifying score for the General category is 40, while for the General-PwD category it is 90.
