NEET SS 2025 Counselling Schedule Released: Check Round 1 and Round 2 Important Dates
The counselling schedule for NEET SS 2025 has been officially released for admission to Super Specialty medical courses such as DM, MCh and DrNB (SS) for the academic session 2025–26. The counselling process will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee, which manages the centralized counselling for Super Specialty seats in medical institutions across India.
Candidates who have qualified in the NEET SS 2025 examination can now participate in the counselling process. The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds, including Round 1 and Round 2, where eligible candidates must complete registration, payment, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting procedures within the specified timeline. The first round of NEET SS 2025 counselling will begin in March 2026. During this stage, candidates must register online, pay the required counselling fee and fill their preferred choices of courses and colleges. After the choice filling process is completed, the authorities will conduct the seat allotment based on the candidate’s rank, preferences and seat availability.

Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to the allotted institute within the specified reporting period. During reporting, candidates are required to complete admission formalities, submit documents and pay the necessary fees to confirm their seat.
Candidates who are not allotted a seat in the first round or those who wish to upgrade their allotted seat will have the opportunity to participate in the second round of counselling. Round 2 provides another chance for candidates to secure admission based on the remaining available seats after the first round.

Candidates participating in Round 2 must complete the registration and choice filling within the given timeline. After the seat allotment result is declared, candidates who receive a seat must report to the allotted institute and complete the admission process within the reporting period.
According to the official counselling schedule, the academic session for Super Specialty courses will commence on 10 April 2026. All candidates who are allotted seats through the counselling process must complete their admission formalities before the commencement of the academic session.
