The merit list contains the names of candidates who have been invited to participate in the NEET PG counselling process. A candidate is admitted to MD/MS/DNB courses based on the results of the counselling process. AIQ, Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes receive 50% of the counselling sessions conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while the other 50% of the seats are handled by the state counselling authority.
Candidates are required to register on the official website of MCC, pay the registration fee, and choose the courses or colleges they are interested in. A seat allotment list is released by the MCC as the result of NEET PG counselling. The NEET PG seats are allocated based on the options selected by candidates and their All-India Rank. For All India Quota seats, MCC will conduct four rounds of counselling, the first, the second, the mop-up round, and the stray vacancy round.
